Salsa Rueda Session

Club Rueda Session

Salsa Rueda is a seriously fun spectacle and experience!
A Rueda can be as small as two couples, or as large as a space can hold. The couples dance in a circle executing moves called out by a leader. You will learn many easy, playful calls, such as "adios", "enchufla", or "dame". The leaders, usually the men, initiate the execution of the moves. The followers, usually the ladies, perform the moves as guided by the leaders. Salsa Rueda is like a game during which the couples continuously change partners, moving along the circle and dancing with everyone in the group. Rueda is danced to lively, up-beat salsa music, with dancers constantly moving along the circle to their next partner:

Mambo Y Salsa at SLG

Learn Mambo (Salsa on "2") with one of Australia's premier on "2" dancers, Roberto Paul.

Prerequisite: dancers will need to be confident with Intermediate on 2 patterns and elements such as - Inline Turns, 1 ½ right 1 ½ left, Copa, spins....
