Rhythms
• Claves: Son clave, Rumba or Guaguanco clave, Bembe or 6/8 clave
• Tumbao on Congas: Tumbao Moderno 1,2, 3 Congas
• Merengue on Congas: Merengue and Bachata rhythm and variations

Course content includes
• Warm Up Exercises
• Hand and Body Positions
• History of Latin Music
• Worksheets

Outcomes?
This Course will complement the existing dance programs of Smooth Latin Groove – also for students seeking a greater understanding of Latin Grooves. Students will be able to form rhythm ensembles and interact with other students and play rhythms on various Latin American Instruments
