Spin Technique Fundamentals

This session won't make you dizzy!! Learn the fundamentals of what makes spins easy & fun.
The focus is on the balance, preparation and execution. Take control of your spins to enhance dance enjoyment!

Recommended for Intermediate and above dancers looking for a fun informative and very practical session.
NB: Please note flat shoes are recommended for this workshop.

Vibranto Dance

Colombian professional performer Juana Basto Salcedo has worked throughout Asia China India & the Middle East as well as with in dance TV and reality shows in Colombia and Argentina.Juana brings with her a wealth of knowledge all Latin rhythms, Reggaeton, Samba, Hip hop and Belly dance and is now at SLG.

Belly Dance with Juana: A Feminine, Sensual and Spiritual dance. This class combines elements from traditional belly dance style with tribal fusion, making the class very active, challenging and entertaining. The class focuses on technique and progressive choreography work.

Brazilian Samba is a very active and enthusiastic rhythm and one of the most popular forms of music and dance in Brazil. The class will combine samba, axé and some African rhythms. Juana’s Samba class has technique, choreography, fitness and most important lots of fun.

Hip-hop & Reggaeton Hip-hop comes form the States, and is very popular rhythm in Australia.

Reggaeton blends musical influences of dancehall, salsa, Latin rap, hip-hop and dancehall. Its dance movements are a combination of hip-hop and latin; sensual and energetic, reggaeton is suitable for any party or social occasion for fans of Latin music.

This is a class to learn and have fun, everybody is welcome: from kids, teenagers to adults; the class is based on choreography work where the students will learn different choreographies thought the term.
